It is situated on pasture land 110 m off the Kaijciems – Rucka highway and about 400 m E of the Unkši homestead.
Initial location of the stone head is not known, the original head is in the crossgallery of Riga Dome Church, a replica of the head is on the Livs’ Square in Rīga.
The Ozoliņi homestead is located on the bank of the Salaca River. There is a homestead’s road leading from the Staicele – Ainaži highway through the woods, being closed at the highway with a chain.
