In the ravine of the Skujupe River, about 600 m south of the place where the Skujupe crosses the road (up the river) Amata–Melturi; the nearest inhabited homestead is the Spuģi.
Short a kilometre north from the centre of Lode. The Kalnalammikas homestead is situated on the right bank of the Rūja River. The stone is at the edge of the Rūja flood land, approximately 100 m S from the homestead.
In a meadow, approximately 200 m from the Jēči Mill and about 100 m from the Jēči homestead. Nearby there is te Jēči Mill, its park and nature trails.
It is impressive with its truncated side; on the side of the stone one can still see traces of rusty nails-spikes. In nature it does not stand out particularly as it is located on a depression, in the
0.5 km down the estuary of the Peida River and about 0.8 km down the estuary of the Ramata River, in the Salaca River – close to its left bank.
In the forests of the Skaņkalne Parish, in the above the flood terrace in a rather underbrushy forest. Not far from the stone there are foundations of a building overgrown with the forest. On the opposite bank of the Salaca River there is a sauna house.
It is worth seeing, but there is a plenty of other stones of similar dimensions, finding of which is much easier. The object is located in the middle of a field and it is not difficult to notice.
