The lake is 1,2 x 0,5 km large; it has marshy and overgrown banks. It is best accessible from the south by means of a facilitated forest road.
On the banks of the scenic lake the wide-known Zebrus Elkus Hill is found. The title of the lake (the root of the name “Svet-es” in Latvian refers to “holy”) makes one think the lake could have been a holy place in the old days.
A probable holy place and related to the Elku Hill.
