Although the reference document (Parish encyclopaedia) calls it “pagan linden”, there is no proof or additional evidence attesting the authenticy of the name. Probably, an ancient cult site. The linden is very scenic and is deemed a secular tree – the girth of the tree reaches 4,70m. A bifurcated tree, which grows on top of an elevation, which offers a wide view. The linden has low branches with dense foliage.
Beautiful place, scenic secular tree, but the heritage value shall be clarified.
During the site visit the home was not inhabited, but it seemed it was not abandoned.
